Friday Reads! (#2)

Hey guys, so I'm back with another Friday Reads post! If you don't know what Friday Reads is, basically it is a hashtag that started on Twitter, to let everyone know what book you were planning on reading that weekend, but BunnyCates took it over to You Tube, and seeing as I don't make videos as of yet, I am going to be doing my Friday Reads here!

This weekend I shall be reading...
I am about 150 pages in so far, and am really enjoying it, but I know I won't finish it this weekend- the reason being it is my birthday on Sunday and so I'll be busy. Also I have an ICT exam on Tuesday which I will be revising for.

So what are you all reading this weekend? Comment below- I'd love to hear from you!

Top Ten Books I am Dying to Read! TTT#1

Hey everyone! So today I'm going to do something a bit different to the usual reviews and wrap-ups, and I'm going to be doing a Top Ten Tuesday post. If you don't know, Top Ten Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and each week they give out a new topic. This week's was a Rewind, so you could choose any past topic-one that you might have missed. As this is my first ever TTT, I thought this would be a good week to join in on. Because I've never done one of these before, there was a lot of choice, but I eventually picked Top Ten Books I am Dying to Read! So, in no particular order, here goes!

1) Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
I've heard so many good things about this book! People say it is absolutely hilarious and I'm so ashamed I haven't read it yet. I love books that make me laugh and am so excited for this one!

2) Fractured by Teri Terry
GIVE ME THIS NOW. I just finished Slated, and I am needing this one! It's already out and I've seen it in shops, but I have no money at this time so this book is a no can do. I was really fascinated by Kyla's story in Slated, and I just want to see how the story progresses.

3) Shatter Me by Taherah Mafi
Again, everyone raves about this book and I don't know why I haven't picked it up yet. BUT, I have it on order from Amazon so its just a matter of time! It sounds so different to anything I've read before and I just can't wait to start it.

4) Cinder by Marissa Meyer
This is on the same order as Shatter Me, and it looks so good! The cover is so pretty, and just the whole premise of the book sounds really intriguing.

5) Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
I know! I am such a bad person! Most people who havent read this say it is because they are not a fan of contemporary, but I am. When the book is based around romance I adore it, but when it is just thrown in there then no. This book is so cute and I just need to read this and Lola before Isla comes out.

6) Every Day by David Leviathan
I love his writing. I love it. This book sounds so interesting and it really appeals to me, so I will buy it, and I will read it ASAP.

7) Wonder by RJ Palacio
I'm not entirely sure what this is about but I have heard nothing but amazing things. I think it is about a boy with a facial deformity who is going to school for the first time. I think the cover is really nice, and I just want to see what the fuss is about honestly!

8) Shades of Earth by Beth Revis
This was one of my most anticipated books of the year, being the last one is the Across the Universe Trilogy. It came out in January and I STILL HAVEN'T READ IT. I guess I was hoping and praying that the publisher would see the error of his/her ways and change the cover back, but no so I shall have to suffer with this one. Hopefully the words will impress though!

9) The Archived by Victoria Schwab
Again, another of my most anticipated reads, and although this came out not that long ago, I haven't even bought it yet!

10) Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
Now, this has been around a while and is the first in the Newsouls trilogy I believe its called, and it has such an interesting premise and such good things have been said that I really need to pick it up NOW, but I can't due to funding problems!

I hope you enjoyed by TTT and by sure to comment below if you've done a TTT today, I'd love to check it out!

Friday Reads!

So for those that don't know, Friday Reads is a hash tag originally started on twitter, for book lovers to let everyone know what they plan on reading over the following weekend. It was brought over to YouTube by BunnyCates, however seeing as I haven't got a YouTube channel, I shall be doing my Friday Reads here!

So this weekend I am going to be finishing Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan.

I'm already half way through, so hopefully i can get a move on and finish this book! I love it so far, and I have my suspicions of whats going on so I'm very excited to get it read!

What are you reading this weekend? Leave me a comment as I'd love to know :)

March Wrap-Up!

Hey guys! I didnt have such a great reading month this month, I was in a really slow mood, and just didn't get anything read! So here are the books I read in March.

Seizure by Kathy Reichs-3/5
I was pretty disappointed with this book and had high hopes for it after the first one, however it did not deliver for me. There were a lot of the same elements and it seemed very recycled. I did a review on this earlier in the month, which I will link here, so go check it out!

Legend by Marie Lu-5/5
I'm so glad I read this! I finally understand what all the hypes been about, and I seriously can not wait to get my hands on Prodigy! I loved Marie's writing style and the plot! Originally it didn't seem very appealing to me, but after lots and lots of people read it, I decided to pick it up, give it a shot and I'm glad I did. Nothing majorly annoyed me in this, which is always a plus!

Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson-3/5
This.book. I cannot begin to describe to you how excited I was when I finally decided to pick this up. I used to be an avid Maximum Ride fan so when I heard James had a new book out, I had to read it. This was so disappointing. I think I might have rated it generously.... I won't get into detail, but you can see my review on it here!

All in all it was a very slow reading month, but hopefully I can read some more books in April! Tell me what you read this month in the comments below!
