Day and Night Tag!

I decided, just because I'm not on YouTube, doesn't mean I can't not do Tags right? Right. So here we go with my first Tag ever! This was created by Readigans over on YouTube, and its called the Day and Night tag.

D: Do you read more in the morning or at night?
The night, definitely  I always try to read at least a chapter of a book before going to sleep. However, most of my reading is done during the day at school, on the way and way back  at break times. I don't know if the bus journey would class as morning, but I'm counting morning from leaving the house, so yeah- I read more at night.

A:Are there any books that changed the way you thought about things?
I know a lot of people say this, but The Fault in Our Stars by John Green...just wow. I only read this recently so everything is still rather fresh with me- but this book...so good!

Y: YA or Not?

I read pretty much everything. I'm trying to get more into classic books, but yes I do read YA mainly. I love fantasy, paranormal, some Adult books, contemporary, anything really.

A:Are there any characters that you honestly believe are real?
There are characters I would like to be real, like the kids from Maximum Ride, and I'd love the Percy Jackson characters to be real- wouldn't that be fun! There are also some, like Augustus and Hazel from TFioS, and Mia from If I Stay that although those characters aren't real, it's obvious to me that that happens to people- so yes in a way I do believe these characters are real. However, some of the books I read I can honestly imagine happening in the future, plot wise, and some I think might be happening now- but in an alternate universe. I'd love for that to be true.

N:Nobody touches my books or I don't mind loaning my books out?
This is a tricky one. I won't ever let someone I don't know very well borrow a book, but usually I don't mind with close friends- as long as they know the terms and conditions that come with that specific book. I once lent some books to a friend of a friend and I never got a couple back- so there's now a gap in my collection, so I tend to only let people borrow one or two at a time.

D: Do you ever smell your books?
When they are new, yes. I love new book smell..mmmmm

N:Not everyone loves books...is this a positive or a negative?
I think it's up to the person, not everyone can escape into the world as easily as others and it's up to them what they do with their time. Personally, this is a bad thing in my opinion because people disregard books they would probably love, and most of the time they are just too lazy to read the book after they see the film, even though the book probably has so much more detail, and plot to it. It does confuse me how people just don't have an open mind about books. Oh well.

I: I keep my books in the best condition or maybe not? Which are you?
I never used to I'll admit. I was awful. So many books on my shelf have broken spines, or dog eared or torn, covers bent- I cringe now. I try so hard to keep them in perfect condition that people think I'm strange constantly checking the spine when I read it- but if it looks pretty on my shelf afterwords, who cares, right?

G: Gosh I have too many books! True or False?
How many is too many? I need a new bookshelf- true- but I wouldn't say I had that many books as I get lots from the library.

H:Have you ever spilled or stained you books before with something, and if so how?
Me, no. My mother? brother? friend? Yes to all of the above, and its so annoying! I got The Knife of Never Letting Go for Christmas a couple of years ago, a week later I lent it to my mum, who proceeded to spill coffee on the cover. I was not happy.

T: Toned or untoned while reading?...or in other words...Do you read and workout at the same time?
No, thats just too hard for me. Moving and reading-no.

So yeah, I hope you all enjoyed this tag, I certainly had fun making it. Feel free to do this yourself-I Tag Everyone!

So you next time!
